two week countdown.

Summer is the best on so many levels. We really do love it. The end of summer however gives me many different feelings. Hot, tired, drained...to name a few. Entertaining these tiny people daily is wonderful yet exhausting. There IS something special about the start of a new school year though. All new gear + a fresh new start. So fun! With all of this back to school excitement the kids have been having fun playing "school" around here and so we got them the sweetest little matching Stuck on You backpacks with their names on them and it is the absolute cutest.

Ocean Spray Mocktails for the win.

We took a break from the hot hot heat this week and headed for the ocean. Our happy place. Since we are all on vacation mode, fancy drinks complete with those silly umbrellas made for a refreshing little tropical treat and let me tell you,  Ocean Spray® Mocktails are DELIGHTFUL. We chugged our entire supply and then I bought more and hid them from my kids because they would have attacked me like frickin' piranas for more and I just wasn't in a sharing mood anymore. My favorite? Cranberry Peach Bellini. So so good.

Hattie's Tropical Soiree

 Our Hattie-cake turned ONE and I am still in denial. We threw a Tropical Soiree to celebrate our sweet girl with friends and family. We partied at Greg's parents pool and thank goodness for that because it was a smokin' hot 106 degrees that day. Lots of LOVE to Patti for making delicious food and to Chuck for blowing up a million balloons. :) Shoutout to Glam Fete for some super cute decor, Krafty Nat for the amazing flamingo cakes (that baby smash cake though, swoon!) and the oh so talented Julia's Cookies NYC for the cutest cookies EVER. Julia's cookies NYC even ships almost anywhere and not a single cookie was broken. A very special THANK YOU to Freshly Picked for so kindly providing the cutest rose gold moccasins for all of Hattie's baby besties. We had the best time celebrating Hattie and Hattie had the best time eating cake. We are beyond grateful to have this happy tiny person in our lives.
